I like it that there's at least two fast food salad spots in my part of town that have the compostable salad bowls- I definitely recommend going with that over crappy plastic. I guess the next question is what's holding them back from ditching the plastic top, too? I know it's cheaper than the paper, but that would be a heck of a statement and much smarter for them. However, I can't say that I trust these places to actually compost the bowls when it's front-of-house disposal... I rip up my bowl and compost it in the backyard with everything else.
