Winter Composting- Did Burlap Help? Yes and No
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yKrNshgIAk Burlap seems like a way better choice than the plastic tarp I used to use. My tarp got damaged quickly and bits of it were ending up in the compost below. I don't use a cover anymore though- it's nice for snow removal to help make a weekly deposit easier, but otherwise it doesn't make sense for my situation (it barely snows here).
