I don't see any reason why not. While I'm sure dog poop has all the crazy pathogens that everyone says it has, why would it really be any different in the grand scheme of things from other kinds of poop? Yes, there may be tapeworms or something similar but I'd still like to go for it and see how it works out. All the books say to keep your pet waste composting efforts separate from your normal pile. I would do that, but I don't really grow much food and I'll just use my vermicompost for my basil plant and two tomatoes. Given the right conditions…
