After a good hard rain, I opened up the compost tumbler to a blast of steam and a bunch of mold. This is the main challenge with compost tumblers- it's very easy for them to become oversaturated and moldy. However, the fix is easy. Simply add several large handfuls of leaves and tumble it. After that, add another layer of leaves on the surface and you're done!
