In a "request for expressions of interest," or RFEOI, to city seeks architectural and engineering services for the design of the new facility. "As the City of Vancouver moves to expand food scraps collection from its residents this year, the additional material that will be collected is expected to exceed the capacity of the [Vancouver South Transfer Station]," the city said in the RFEOI.
