Once I got going with the Worm Inn, I had to offer it to my readers. Simply put, it’s a highly breathable Cordura sack with a zippered mesh opening and a handy-dandy drawstring at the bottom for harvesting worm castings. It’s pretty sweet since it functions year-round and can process a lot of material.
Once the initial food and bedding has been gobbled up by the worms (which takes about two months or so), worm castings can be collected on a fairly regular basis. What’s cool is how quickly the worms reproduce, making even quicker work of whatever you throw at them. This really is the way to go for anyone looking to get serious with their composting while keeping it simple.
If you haven’t seen it, I highly suggest checking out my review below:
I have these available in 5 colors with up to 2 pounds of worms. So here they are:
-Dimensions: 36″ tall, 18″ x 18″
-Works year round
-Top notch worm castings
-Fun and easy to use
Colors shown above: Plum, Brown, Camo, Port, Green
If you order a Worm Inn + worms, they will be sent in separate packages. The Worm Inn will be sent first, which will give you a few days to prepare the habitat for them.
I prefer to have the worm package held at the post office to avoid having them sit on your porch exposed to the elements. If you want them sent directly to you, please let me know.
Stand Kit Info: You will receive 8 custom corner pieces, along with 4 zip ties to build the heavy duty stand. The lengths of pipe are not included with the package, as the shipping costs go up drastically.
From your local hardware store, pick up 3 10′ Segments of 3/4″ PVC Pipe (About $1.45 each)
Have the store cut into 4 36″ legs, and 8 18″ sides
The pieces simply fit together, with the entire process taking less than 5 minutes!
ORDERS TO CONTINENTAL U.S. ONLY.
U.S. Customs are a funny bunch…unfortunately I can’t send worms outside of the continental United States. Sorry!
-Please make sure to provide me with your USPS mailing address, as this is where your order confirmation will be sent. The worms are sent via USPS Priority Mail.
-Orders are shipped out early each week to avoid sitting at the post office over the weekend, so please order by Saturday to receive it by the end of the following week.
-If you don’t think you’ll be home to receive it, please let me know so we can arrange to have the post office hold the package for you. I prefer to have them held at the post office to avoid any hassles.
Worms are super tough, but why risk their health in extreme heat or cold? I want you to be happy with your purchase.
-If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. I should be able to get back to you within 24 hours with the exception of a serious emergency. Between myself and the amazing redwormcomposting.com you’re in good hands for getting all of your worm questions answered.
