Now THIS is interesting. This person has to be so bummed. I wonder how often this is happening…even if it’s a rarity, that would certainly sway plenty of people to spend $400 elsewhere.

One other thing, why would she be asking Youtube to “please confirm”? Shouldn’t she be asking Naturemill? I hope that’s not hinting at their customer service…

My main question for Naturemill: Do you have a program to take back your machine when it’s considered waste…they have a decent warranty, it seems. It would be a nice touch if that was elaborated on. Could always use a dead kitchen composter for parts, right?

It is supposed to work like that! That is how it grinds up the food to making the compost. Without the grinding you will not get good compost. Close the lid and there is no noise on the outside. I can hear mine spinning if I think about it, but not enough to notice really.

Yes and one other thing – I have the newer model which is a little different but similar principle inside. It has the grinder inside which is almost silent once you close the lid and it has a tighter seal which helps a little. They took the noise out (mostly) and you can still hear it spinning but it is quieter than our fridge so don’t hear it about the regular background noise.

Cool! I hope to get one for review…I need to keep applying!
