   do you dry the castings at all? Do you have any idea of the moisture content?
   If you used a finer screen is there any benefit/loss?

      I let my castings sit out for a bit if they seem too slimy… I do screen my castings and just use the fine crumbly stuff. In the past, I think I was using my castings a little too prematurely, so I’ve found that being patient and only using what’s unrecognizable is best.
